Istaro is located at a height of 1862 meters above sea level in the municipality of Salvador Escalante in Michoacán, Mexico. Its geographic location is at latitude: 19.328056 and longitude: -101.753611.

Population

Istaro is populated by 1567 people. The total population consists of 88 children aged 0 to 2 years, 89 aged 3 to 5 years, 209 children aged 6 to 11 years, 111 teenagers between 12 and 14 years and 115 aged 15 to 17 years.
